Skiing skills
This course is designed for intermediate to advanced on-piste skiers with little off-piste experience. You should be able to get down any slope or accessible off-piste tours - although it's okay if you lack technique and confidence, as this is what we'll be working on :) A good level of physical fitness is recommended.
Ski-touring gear rental
You can rent basic ski-touring equipment (skis, boots, poles) and avalanche rescue equipment (beacon, probe and shovel) for this trip. Just let us know what you need (specific gear or the full set) and your guide will provide you with everything. You can choose between renting each item individually or renting a set of ski-touring and/or avalanche rescue equipment. It is mandatory for everyone to have a full avalanche kit with them at all times when ski-touring.
Travel
Please DO NOT book your flights until this trip is confirmed. Most of our trips require a minimum number of participants to run. Wait for the status of the trip to be confirmed and for more information go to the "How it works" section

Mapo Tapo selects locations and mountain guides with the utmost care. We can for any inaccuracies, however, accept no liability. Ski-touring is a risky sport that takes place in nature. Ultimately, you are fully responsible for the choices you make. Mapo Tapo recommends that anyone who does not have sufficient knowledge to go outdoors accompanied by a certified mountain guide.

What level do I need to be at to participate in this trip?
You should be an intermediate to advanced skiier and able to get down any slope/ easy off-pistes. No need for perfect technique or confidence, though, as this is what we will develop.
What is the maximum number of people who can join this trip?
Each certified guide can accommodate up to 7 participants. This allows for personalized attention and a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone in the gro
What fitness level do I need to have to join this trip?
Participants should be able to navigate down red slopes or easy off-piste terrains, even if they need to work on their technique or confidence. It's suitable for adults and children from 15 years onwards. You're welcome to join whether you're an individual, a couple, or a group of friends.
Is the flight included?
No, the flight is not included in the package. Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to the designated meeting point.
How do I get to the meeting point?
Detailed instructions on how to reach the meeting point will be provided upon booking. We'll make sure you have clear and convenient directions, ensuring a smooth start to your adventure.
Is the ski gear rental included?
No, ski gear rental is not included in the package. However, we're more than happy to assist you in arranging the necessary equipment. Our team will ensure you have access to quality gear for an optimal experience.
