If you are looking for an extraordinary hike that showcases the beautiful landscapes of Cortina d'Ampezzo, then the loop hike to the Nuvolau, Averau and Cinque Torri refuges is the ideal choice! Set amidst the breathtaking Ampezzo Dolomites, this hike offers a 360° enchanting view of the Tofane, Lagazuoi, Marmolada, Civetta, Pale di San Martino, Catinaccio, Sassolungo, Pelmo, Sorapis lake and Cristallo mountains. You will always be accompanied by our Certified Mountain Guide who will lead you to safely explore the entire route. DAY 1
From the Falzarego pass to Cinque Torri!
The Falzarego Pass is the starting point of this extraordinary route! Going up to the Forcella Averau pass, at 2435 m above sea level, the spectacle unfolds: from here, continue along trail 441 to the Nuvolau refuge, at 2575 m, the oldest refuge in the Dolomites. After crossing the Forcella Averau Pass again, hikers descend to the Scoiattoli and Cinque Torri refuges at a majestic altitude to close the circle with the Col Gallina refuge. Beyond this, it is possible to divert to the beautiful Limides Lake, renowned for its breathtaking reflections.
The programme is very flexible to take into account weather conditions, activities level and endurance of the group.

Hiking Skills
This loop hike is suitable for all levels, as long as you like walking :) The route takes about 4 hours with an altitude difference of about 700 metres.
Flexible Date
The date indicated may be subject to flexibility. If you would like to participate in the experience but cannot make it on the day indicated, write to us with the best date for you, and we will contact the guide for confirmation!
