DOLOMITES CLIMBING TRIP
The Dolomites certainly no need introduction! You will spend 5 days climbing in a beautiful valley: Val di Fassa!VIEW DATES
The Dolomites certainly need no introduction and the Val di Fassa, the location of this trip, is a beautiful sunny valley in the heart of this heritage. During this stay we will explore the best crags in the area, from the historic smooth slabs of Val San Nicolò, to the enchanting panorama of Città dei Sassi on Passo Sella.. Dolomite, limestone, porphyry and varied climbing to suit everyone's taste! A stay at the Agritur Soreie crowns our activity of genuine, km0 products, hospitality and familiarity.
Alpine Vibes was founded by Stefano Ragazzo and Silvia Loreggian, both IFMGA/UIAGM mountain guides and companions for adventures in the mountains as well as in life!
Alpine Vibes would like to go a little against the tide concerning the modern environment in which almost everyone lives, which has now sadly seen the spirit of adventure and the relationship with nature die out. This is what they think: "We live our driving profession with strong passion and dedication, which is why we always give our best technically and professionally on every outing to make each day special and different from the last."
You are free to arrive whenever you like! The meeting with the guide and the rest of the group will be at 6 pm at the Agritur Soreie. After a short briefing and settling into the rooms, a welcome dinner awaits us at the b&b and will offers genuine, km0 and organic products.
Città dei Sassi climbing day!
The day begins with a big breakfast then the guide will pick you up at the b&b at 9.30 am, and off we go to discover the Dolomites!
A transfer of about half an hour will take us to the Sella Pass, where we will spend our first day climbing at the Città dei Sassi cliff: a series of large boulders resulting from a landslide surrounded by an incredible panorama!
New day, New crag!
New day, new crag! As on the previous day, appointment with the guide at the b&b and short transfer to the crag. Today we are going to touch down on the historic smooth slabs of Val San Nicolò: a very significant place from a climbing point of view and at the same time so isolated and quiet that you wouldn't believe it.
A different place awaits us today! With a journey of about an hour through the main passes of the Dolomites, we will climb a Dolomite cliff on the Falzarego Pass, overlooking the beautiful Ampezzo basin.
Last day, last climb!
It is the last day and we want to say goodbye to it with one last gem of climbing in the Val di Fassa, because who said that in the Dolomites all rock is the same!
In fact, the Sottosassa crag, with its porphyry slabs and clean cracks, is a rare exception that we cannot miss!
The activity ends in the early afternoon, we say goodbye and everyone goes their separate ways.
The programme is very flexible to take into account weather conditions, activities level and endurance of the group.
The agritur is located in a quiet area, surrounded by nature, in the heart of the Dolomites. It is a complete farm, vegetables, small fruits and cereals are grown, and goats and sheep are reared to make cheese and yoghurt: all products are used in the kitchen. The farm has 8 fantastic rooms, all made of solid wood and smelling of pine. A KM0 breakfast is included for guests, and dinner service is available.
