No minimum climbing level is required, as this is a trip specifically designed for beginners and your Guide is a certified mountain guide. The only thing needed is an adventurous attitude and thirst for exploration! The routes will be selected depending on the snow, ice and weather condition. The best thing about climbing with the locals is that you can decide last minute, depending on the weather and wind conditions to always get the best out of the day!
Mapo Tapo selects crags and local partners with the utmost care. We can for any inaccuracies, however, accept no liability. Rock climbing is a risk sport that takes place in nature. Ultimately, you are fully responsible for the choices you make. Mapo Tapo recommends that anyone who does not have sufficient knowledge not to go outdoor alone.
What fitness level must I have to join this trip?
We recommend a good level of fitness and a willingness to learn. Ice climbing can be physically demanding, so being in decent shape will enhance your experience. No previous ice-climbing experience is required.

What is the maximum number of people who can join this trip?

Do you recommend bringing any extra gear?
Yes, we advise packing very warm clothes and a thermos. Anything that helps you combat the cold will be beneficial. You'll find that you warm up quickly once you start climbing.
