Labské Údoli, Czech Republic
Kilometers of incredible sandstone climbing in a stunning natural setting - with one twist: in most crags metal gear, chalk and top-roping are prohibited! With over 2,000 routes, super friendly locals and excellent beer, it's the perfect holiday destination for anyone up for an adventure.
The birthplace of red-pointing, Frankenjura is known for its pockets and power endurance intensive climbs - but there's a lot of variety! With over 13,000 routes and 1,000 crags in a pleasant forested setting, this is the perfect destination for a rock climbing holiday.
Quality granite climbing located in a beautiful Alpine valley full of mountain streams, lush vegetation and flowers. Zillertal is a must-visit summer destination for boulderers and sport climbers alike, but you can find all styles of climbing here.
Finale Ligure, Italy
One of the most loved rock climbing areas in Italy, boasting over 3,000 limestone routes situated near the coast. While Finale Ligure is predominantly a sport climbing area, expect a huge variety of climbing styles - from techy slabs to steep overhangs - and to be schooled in climbing technique!
Céüse is known as one of the best rock climbing areas in the world, home to some of the world's hardest climbs. A great vertical wall of rock boasting around 350 climbs from 5 to 9b+, the crag's location at 1600m a.s.l makes it perfect for summer and guarantees incredible views from the anchors.
Gorges du Tarn, France
One of the top French sport climbing venues, Gorges du Tarn is home to over 400 classic routes in a beautiful setting full of fast-flowing rivers, steep cliffs and pine forests. This is the place to head if you like pumpy overhanging limestone routes full of pockets and crimps, and want to work on your headgame on runouts.
Great lines of all difficulties, pockets of all shapes and sizes, and over 1,500 routes to choose from... Margalef really is a place with something for everyone! From slabs to steep overhangs, pockets to tufas, quiet sleepy crags to ones where you're bound to spot a famous climber, and of course delicious food, there's many reasons to visit.
Rodellar is a tufa-climbing paradise, home to over 400 incredible bolted routes. This is the place to head if you enjoy long steep routes, huge caves, tufas, slopers and wide pinches - but there are also many vertical crags offering more technical climbing.
Meet your hosts on the Europe Rock Trip
Jany is a solid 8a+ climber who started Rockbusters. Although his masters degree is in Social Politics and Social Work, he couldn't resist the call of the mountains and has since become a full-time climbing instructor.

Pablo has been climbing since the age of 14 and has experience in all styles of the sport. When not climbing, you can find him guiding ski tours in the Pyrenees.
Various crags in Europe
We will be visiting some of Europe's best and most iconic crags
During this trip we will be visiting some of Europe's best and most iconic crags. Whether you prefer laybacking on tufas, teetering up slabs or pulling on pockets, there's bound to be a destination that appeals to you.
After starting at the ultra-traditional sandstone paradise of Labske Udoli in the Czech Republic, we'll move onto Frankejura, the birthplace of red-pointing, known for it's steep, pumpy pocket-filled routes. Then it's onto the stunning alpine granite boulders and routes of Zillertal before hopping over to Italy for some coastal limestone climbing at Finale Ligure. After this, we move over to Ceuse for some hard climbing with a view (and chance to touch the start holds on Bibliographie), and Gorges du Tarn for some of the best limestone crimps in France. Finally, it's off to Spain to climb on more pockets in Margalef, finishing with the tufa-filled overhangs of Rodellar.
Rockbusters have organised a range of basic accommodation options, such as local climbing hostels, cottages, campsites, and B&Bs run by local climbers.
In Labske Udoli, Frankenjura, Finale Ligure, Zillertal, Margalef, and Rodellar you will stay in hostels or campsite bungalows with bunk beds. In Gorges du Tarn we use permanent caravans which belong to the campsite and in Ceuse we stay in campsites with hot showers, wi-fi, and a restaurant. We provide tents so you will need to bring a sleeping bag and foam pad.
