The Experience
Given the abundance of ski routes in the Lyngen Alps, we can adjust the itinerary during our skiing week to the preferred challenge level of our clients and the weather. The skiing program is decided daily based on technique and experience. We will leave (early) in the morning (depending on weather conditions) and return in the afternoon. Lunch will be a snack while skiing. Depending on your preference, we will have a great dinner at the B&B or some restaurants.

Skiing Skills
To make the most of this ski-touring trip, you'll need to be a relatively strong skier (able to ski down red slopes easily) with prior experience skiing off-piste. Moderate fitness is required to manage an estimated route time of about 4-6 hours.

Mapo Tapo selects locations and mountain guides with the utmost care. We can for any inaccuracies, however, accept no liability. Ski-touring is a risky sport that takes place in nature. Ultimately, you are fully responsible for the choices you make. Mapo Tapo recommends that anyone who does not have sufficient knowledge to go outdoors accompanied by a certified mountain guide.

What fitness level do I need to have to join this trip?
To fully enjoy this trip, you should be comfortable skiing on red slopes and have some previous experience in ski-touring. Depending on the level of the group, we will be climbing from 400 to 1200 meters per day. A good fitness level is critical for getting the most out of such a spectacular place!
