Covid news: the Kyrgyz authorities have reinstated the obligation to present a PCR test. Any traveller over the age of six wishing to travel to Kyrgyzstan must present the negative results of a PCR test carried out less than 72 hours before entering Kyrgyz territory, regardless of their vaccination status.

No vaccine is mandatory but some may be recommended. Make sure you are up to date in your usual vaccinations but also in those related to all the geographical areas visited. Updating the diphtheria-tetanus-poliomyelitis (DTP) vaccine is recommended, as well as that of the rubella-mumps-measles (MMR) vaccine in children. Tuberculosis vaccination is also desirable. Depending on local travel conditions, vaccinations against typhoid fever and viral hepatitis A and B may be recommended. Vaccination against rabies may also be desirable in some cases, depending on the conditions and places of stay. Ask your doctor or an international vaccination centre for advice.

- Hiking skis with hiking bindings, seal skins + knives, sticks, and crampons. All are in excellent condition. We recommend freeride skis 100 mm, 105 mm at minimum skating (cause of deep powder) to make the most of the descents in all snow and the powder.

- Ski touring boots

- Backpack: capacity 35/40L.

Safety tip: Airbag backpacks are a plus in safety. In the event of an avalanche, the airbag bag allows you to stay on the surface of the avalanche and thus reduces the risk of burial. The Azimut Guides use this bag a lot. These bags contain compressed air cartridges; check with your company for air transport conditions.

- DVA (avalanche victim detector): If you have a DVA, a shovel and a probe, report it to us at your registration. If you don't have one, we'll lend you one for free.

- Padded ski cover for the plane.

- Highly recommended ski helmet

Sure! Azimut will take care of that; you just need to inform us at the moment of the bookings :)
