DAY 1
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at Tbilisi Airport, the capital city of Georgia. From there, we'll embark on a journey to the enchanting region of Svaneti. You can take a flight from either Natakhtari (near Tbilisi) or Kutaisi airport to Mestia airport. Our first night will be spent in a cozy guesthouse in the picturesque village of Becho.
DAY 2
Day 2: Mount Decil
Our adventure kicks off with an exhilarating ski tour. We'll traverse from the charming Village Mazeri to the breathtaking Mount Decil, standing tall at 2578 meters. After conquering the summit, we'll gracefully descend to the quaint village of Etseri at 1500 meters. As the day draws closer, we'll return to our haven in Becho for a well-deserved rest.
DAY 3
Day 3: Guli Valley
Today, we'll venture from Village Mazeri to the awe-inspiring Guli Valley, boasting a mesmerizing viewpoint at 3200 meters. We'll then make a graceful descent down the renowned Guli glacier, arriving at the serene village of Bagvdanari, nestled at 1600 meters. Our night will be spent in the comfort of Becho.
DAY 4
Day 4: Mount Simzagari
The journey continues as we traverse from the charming village of Etseri to the majestic Mount Simzagari, soaring to an impressive 3311 meters. Following this conquest, we'll descend to the quaint village of Ipari, situated at 1300 meters. As the day winds down, we'll find solace in Becho.
DAY 5
Day 5: Tskhkvzagari
We'll embark on a scenic drive to Mestia, a vibrant town in the heart of Svaneti. From there, we'll reach the captivating Tskhkvzagari, perched at 2353 meters. The descent down the Chaladi glacier promises to be an exhilarating experience. We'll spend the night in a comfortable hotel in Mestia.
DAY 6
Day 6: Tetnuldi Resort
A seamless transfer will transport us from Mestia to the renowned Tetnuldi resort at 2,000 meters. We'll ascend using lifts, reaching a staggering altitude of 3300 meters. The descent to the charming village of Zabeshi, located at 1600 meters, will be a highlight of the day. Our night will be spent in Mestia.
DAY 7
Day 7: Tetnuldi Resort
Once again, a convenient transfer will whisk us from Mestia to Tetnuldi Resort. We'll ascend to 3300 meters using lifts, reveling in the panoramic vistas. The descent to the idyllic village of Adishi at 2000 meters will be a memorable part of our journey. Our day will culminate in Ushguli, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we'll find comfort in a welcoming guesthouse.
DAY 8
Day 8: Departure
As our unforgettable journey comes to a close, we'll return to Tbilisi. From there, a dedicated transfer will ensure you reach the airport in time for your departure.
The programme is very flexible to take into account weather conditions, activities level and endurance of the group.

Skiing Skills
To make the most of this ski-touring trip, you must be a relatively strong skier (able to ski down red slopes easily) with prior ski-touring and skiing off-piste experience. Good fitness is required to manage 6-8 hours of daily activity. If you don't have your ski-touring gear, let us know, and we'll be glad to help you with the rental.

Mapo Tapo selects locations and mountain guides with the utmost care. We can, for any inaccuracies, however, accept no liability. Ski-touring is a risky sport that takes place in nature. Ultimately, you are fully responsible for the choices you make. Mapo Tapo recommends that anyone who does not have sufficient knowledge to go outdoors accompanied by a certified mountain guide.
Travel
Please DO NOT book your flights until this trip is confirmed. Most of our trips require a minimum number of participants to run, so to avoid disappointment, wait for a confirmation email before making non-refundable travel plans.

No, the flight is not included in the package. Participants are responsible for arranging their travel to the meeting point.

We'll meet each other at the Tbilisi Airport. Detailed instructions will be provided upon booking. Once the trip is confirmed, our team will assist you in planning your journey by adding you in our Whatsapp Group, where you'll virtually meet your Guide and the other participants.
