Overview
A hiking trip to discover western Liguria! You will walk in a very special environment due to the particular morphology of Liguria, which offers the possibility of having the mountains very close to the sea. In addition, the beautiful surroundings and all the hikes are an interesting mix of nature and history, with man having frequented these areas since prehistoric times! It is therefore an outdoor trip set between sea and mountains!

Micol is the super guide that organises this trip, is a geologist, and a lifelong sportsman, from horse riding to climbing and since 2019, she has achieved her dream of becoming an AMM (Medium Mountain Guide)! Her goal has always been to work with something she really enjoys, something that makes her think when she goes home:" I am happy, and that is why I am a Medium Mountain Guide!" She would like to convey the importance and beauty of nature as its spokesperson... This year she's diving into the world of travel because she believes that setting out on a journey is nothing other than our great journey...

DAY 1
Arrival day!
Meeting at the hotel at 6 pm. Introductions, briefing on the trip and excursions. 6.30 pm there will be a welcome drink!
DAY 2
Start the hike!
Meet at the hotel at 9.30 a.m. and start the first hike on the Finalese Tour trails, from cave to cave. You will see the most spectacular sights in the area such as the Ivy Cave, the ruins of Sant'Antonino, the Pollera Cave... With this first excursion you will begin to learn about the fascinating history of these places.
The lunch will packed and the return will be at 3.30 pm.
You can dedicate the rest of the day to exploring Finalborgo or the sea, another wonderful part of the Finalese area.
DAY 3
Reach Monte Carmo
Meeting at 9 a.m. and movement to reach the attack of Monte Carmo. This is one of the most beautiful mountains in the western part of the country, with its ridge trail to reach the summit offering a dynamic and enjoyable walk along easy rocky slopes and totally overlooking the sea. Return scheduled for 4.30 p.m.
DAY 4
Grotta dei Falsari's day
The meeting will at 8.30 a.m. Today is the day of the not-to-be-missed Pilgrim's Path, a great classic in the area famous for its particular beauty and for the possibility of reaching the unmissable Grotta dei falsari! The excursion ends in Noli with arrival at the beach! A yoga experience in nature is planned for the afternoon :)
DAY 5
Walk in the Dolomites of Liguria!
Meeting at 8 a.m., short drive (30 minutes), today we will walk in the small Dolomites of Liguria along the Trail of the Giants. We'll return at 5 p.m.
DAY 6
Last day!
Meeting point at 9.00 a.m. and for those who wish, it will be possible to take a short hike to the village of Verezzi, passing through the Vecchia Cava, a path in a pure Mediterranean environment with a sea view!
For the lunch break it is unfortunately time to say goodbye, but we are waiting for you for the next trip!
The programme is very flexible to take into account weather conditions, activities level and endurance of the group.

Ca Dì Nì
Beautiful historic building in the heart of Finalborgo. Beautiful and very central, it is the best accommodation to return to every evening and to have the opportunity to explore Finalborgo and its surroundings.

Hike Level
Suitable for everyone, no minimum technical requirements are necessary, just a little walking habit and a minimum of personal training. The hikes are of medium intensity, and in general, we can then adapt the outings slightly according to the characteristics of the final group.

Necessary Equipment:
Backpack, hiking shoes (not necessarily high, I do not recommend high mountain boots), poles (recommended, but optional), sun cream, hat. There should always be water (minimum 1.5 l) in the rucksack, packed lunch, sunglasses, a spare T-shirt, a fleece/light down jacket, and a shell.
