DAY 2

Day 2: Nèouvielle Peak

The Néouvielle Nature Reserve reveals an original landscape of massifs and ridges of granite, and offers an elixir of Pyrenean wonders. The formula of this magical place is exhaustive between lakes, peaks and exceptional vegetation. Centennial pines up to 2800m altitude (highest in Europe) and whistling marmots fill this place with getaways fabulous. We will dare to ascend its emblematic peak, icon of the Reserve. Elegant in appearance due to its shapes, the Néouvielle peak is an easily accessible 3,000, classified by its region as one of the largest in the Pyrenees. not the tallest sector (3091m), but due to its position, it reigns over the lakes of Cap de Long, Aubert and Aumar.

Day 3: Culfreda and Batoua peaks

Ascent to the three peaks of Culfreda (Batoua) from the Rioumajou Hospice, where we will go through fairly humid areas to begin with, where we will find pine trees and thickets between streams. Once past the forest, and continuing in the direction of the ridges the vegetation will decrease with our steps, to invite us into a rocky terrain and a lonely path with a strange lunar atmosphere that reigns in the Port of Caouarère and the magnificent view that it offers over the massif of Bachimala (Schrader) to the southern slope, in direction of Posets (3375m). You first climb the peak of Caouarère (2901m) and then continue along the crest (some isolated simple climbs) to the peaks of Culfreda (3034m -
