Overview

The Via Ferratas located around Arco and the Sarca valley are the ideal staring point for those whishing to tackle the Via Ferrata routes available in the Brenta group and the Dolomites. There are via ferratas of all difficulties and lengths. Most of the routes are short and allow to gain confidence with the environment and the gear used: a ferrata set, made of a harness and carabiners. Join us on this experience, choose the via ferrata you prefer and get ready to explore!

The Experience

You’ll have fun, meet new friends and explore the destination alongside a certified guide. Choose the via ferrata you want to do in the Lake Garda area and start your adventure!

DAY 1

Sentiero dei Contrabbandieri

The “smugglers path” gives the perfect adrenaline boost to complete an unforgettable holiday on Garda Lake. It's an extraordinary ledge route carved out of the cliff-rock that plunges into the waters of Lake Garda, some 300m below. Not for the faint-hearted, this impressive horizontal Via Ferrata - semi-equipped path provides hikers with adrenaline and exposure and breath-taking cliff-hanger views of the lake, reaching as far as the southern shores.

DAY 2

Ferrata Monte Albano

This Ferrata is one of the most difficult ones. Vertical and very exposed, it requires good strength in the arms, good resistance and lack of vertigo. Suitable to mountaineers with previous Via Ferrata experience.

DAY 3

Ferrata Colodrì

The Via Ferrata Colodri di Arco is the easiest equipped path in the Sarca Valley. Easy but spectacular, it is ideal for those who wish to try this activity for the first time and for families with kids who want to share a new experience.

DAY 4

Ferrata Che Guevara

Although the Via Ferrata Che Guevara is not particularly hard, it is very long both uphill and downhill and it requires good physical fitness and stamina.
Given the exposure it is advisable to tackle it in spring, early summer or autumn.

The programme is very flexible to take into account weather conditions, activities level and endurance of the group.

This ferrata is of medium difficulty, and we recommend it to trained hikers with experience in via ferratas, a sure-footedness and an absence of vertigo.
