Spend a whole day climbing in nature, transitioning from indoor climbing to a new level of experience: outdoor climbing! By joining this activity, you will be guided by a Certified IFMGA Mountain Guide during your first steps on real rock, alongside a bunch of other passionate climbers of your same experience level. You won't need anything else but your sense of adventure!

Climbing Skills
No minimum level is required for this activity since Lake Como boasts crags of all levels and the instructor is an IFMGA Certified Mountain Guide or a Certified Outdoor Rock-climbing Instructor. However, we require you to be comfortable with the basic belaying technique. This is an introductory course to outdoor sport-climbing, so previous indoor climbing experience is appreciated!

Mapo Tapo selects crags and local partners with the utmost care. For any inaccuracies, however, we can not accept any liability. Rock climbing is a risky sport that takes place in nature. Ultimately, you are fully responsible for the choices you make. Mapo Tapo recommends that anyone who does not have sufficient knowledge and skills not go outdoors alone.

What level do I need to be climbing at to join this trip?

What group size can I expect for this trip?
The maximum group size for this trip is 6, so expect to get lots of climbing in and some 1-on-1 time with your guide. If we exceed the maximum number of participants, we will be joined by another IFMGA Certified Local Mountain Guide.
