AN HIKE IN SARDINIA
Five days of activities in the spectacular land of Ogliastra!BOOK NOW
Five days of activities in the spectacular land of Ogliastra, all in the name of adventure, fun and adrenaline! A programme based on verticality and spectacular views on one of the most beautiful islands in the world...Sardinia! No previous skills are required, all you need to participate is to love nature and be fascinated by the world of trekking!
Micol, our super guide for this trip, is a geologist, and a lifelong sportsman, from horse riding to climbing and since 2019, she has achieved her dream of becoming an AMM (Medium Mountain Guide)! Her goal has always been to work with something she really enjoys, something that makes her think when she goes home:" I am happy, and that is why I am a Medium Mountain Guide!" She would like to convey the importance and beauty of nature as its spokesperson... This year she's diving into the world of travel because she believes that setting out on a journey is nothing other than our great journey...
First day: Gorropu Gorges
Arrival in Olbia, Sardinia! in the morning by 10am or directly at the Agriturismo. We will start the adventure with an exciting first hike in the Gorropu Gorges, an environment that leaves you speechless! This first excursion will be a warm-up for your legs and just a taste of the natural beauty we will discover!
Direction: Punta Salinas and Cala Goloritzé
Departure at 9 a.m. We will make a transfer to reach the Golgo area, from where we will set off on our excursion for the day: Direction Punta Salinas and Cala Goloritzé, to admire the majesty of the famous Goloritzé Spire up close. Once we reach the cove, there will be time for swimming and relaxation! This excursion has no particular difficulty except that on the outward journey you go downhill and on the return journey the path logically goes uphill, but don't be frightened! We will ascend at the pace of our group! No hurry!
Access to the area is subject to payment on site of a small fee for maintaining the path and the creek in good condition.
Reach the village of Tiscali
Departure at 9 a.m. with the usual transfer by car to reach the starting point, this time at the foot of Monte Oddeu. We will then plunge into the wild and wonderful valley of Surtana, until we reach the village of Tiscali. You will be surprised by the beauty of the place, as is often the case in Sardinian land everything is sharp, barren, Mediterranean, vertical and immensely fascinating!
Access to the area is subject to payment on site of a small fee for maintaining the path and the ancient village in good condition.
From Pedra Longa to Punta Giradili!
Departure at 9 a.m. Transfer to Pedra Longa, another unmissable place in the collection of places to see once in a lifetime! From here, we will walk on the trail of the initial Selvaggio Blu route to Punta Giradili. In the afternoon, sea! :)
Last day...Gulf of Orosei
For this our last Sardinian day, we want to give you a unique thrill! We will take a morning excursion by dinghy to see the main bays of the Gulf of Orosei from the sea!
In the early afternoon we will return to Olbia and head home!
The programme is very flexible to take into account weather conditions, activities level and endurance of the group.
Agriturismo Codula Fuili
Our base will be a farmhouse in a crazy location, in a secluded spot with a wonderful, open view of the sea! The dinners are all based on local ingredients and home-grown zero-kilometre products! It is an ideal place to alternate our day trips with evening relaxation! The location is also not far from Cala Gonone.
