Lorenzo is a certified alpine guide and climbing instructor. He lives in Rome, he's an explorer who loves travelling with his van and letting people discover walls and mountains that are always new.
Feel free to arrive at the B&B at the time you prefer: you will have time to visit the beautiful village!
After an energising breakfast, it’s time to get climbing! Our super guide Lorenzo will help you to improve the physical and mental technique between different exercises, wall reading and mental aspects at the Invisible Castle's crag!
After this day you will definitely feel more confident and ready for another day at the crag!
Climbing, climbing, climbing! You will spend the day in one of the unique crags by the sea! Maybe you'll even be able to take a quick dive and relax while watching a beautiful sunset!
Take a break and relax!
This day will be different! Rest morning at the beach and then...time to explore the Sperlonga land! You will reach the "Eremo di San Michele" on the top of Redentore mount while Lorenzo will tell you about his beautiful land!
Don't get too tired and be ready to taste all the typical food at the "Pornito Rifuge"!
After a good breakfast with the group, it's time to say goodbye!

Sperlonga is one of the places where you can find historic crags frequented by some of the greatest climbers! It is a very popular place for climbers in winter because, thanks to its temperature, it is possible to climb on grades of high difficulty!
B&B A Casa d'Antonella
In the beautiful village of Fondi, just a few steps away from the most famous cliffs of Sperlonga there is the B&B a Casa d'Antonella where you can relax after a day of climbing. You will be sleeping in a comfortable double room with one of your fellow climber...and a rich breakfast awaits you in the morning.

No minimum climbing level is required, as Lorenzo is a full certified mountain guide. What is needed is an adventurous attitude and thirst for exploration! You will find grades ranging from 4a to 9a and all the crags will be selected depending on the level and the preferences of the group. The best thing about climbing with the locals is that you can decide last minute depending on the weather and wind conditions to always get the best out of the day!
Mapo Tapo selects crags and local partners with the utmost care. We can for any inaccuracies, however, accept no liability. Rock climbing is a risky sport that takes place in nature. Ultimately, you are fully responsible for the choices you make. Mapo Tapo recommends that anyone who does not have sufficient knowledge not to go outdoor alone.

What level do I need to be climbing at to join this trip?
You will be accompanied by a guide throughout this trip, so no minimum experience is required. You'll find grades from 4a to 9a in Sperlonga, so there's really something for everyone!
How many people will be joining this trip?
The minimum number of climbers for this trip to run is 3, and maximum is 5. So you can expect lots of 1-on-1 time with your guide :)
How do I get to the crags/ B&B?
Transport from the B&B to the crags is included in the trip price.
The meeting point for this trip is the B&B A Casa d'Antonella, Via Paolo Borsellino, 25, 04022 Fondi LT, Italy. The B&B is most easily reached by car (about 2 hours from Rome and Naples), or can be reached by public transport from Rome. We can help organise car shares over the trip's Whatsapp group.
