DAY 2

Head up into the mountains!

After a hearty breakfast, it's off for a full day of ski-touring. We will first ski-tour to the Rifugio Trivena before continuing up some technical ascents through the forest to reach the high-mountain slopes. Return to the Rifugio for a well-deserved dinner of local specialities.

DAY 3

Ski and departure

Start the day with another delicious local breakfast, before heading out once again for a shorter day ski-touring. In the evening, pack up your kit and return home.

The program is very flexible to take into account weather conditions, climbing level, and endurance of the group

Val Breguzzo

An isolated, wild and peaceful valley known for its pristine winter landscapes

Val Breguzzo, an Eastern offshoot of the Adamello group, is nothing short of a paradise for ski-tourers. An isolated, wild and peaceful valley, the area is known for its pristine winter landscapes (which look almost like something out of a fairy tale), incredible snow conditions, and technical ascents.

The valley starts with a steep path leading up through the forest to the Rifugio Trivena. This first section has some forced, steep ascents, requiring you to have good endurance and technical skills. Above 2000m, however, the valley opens up and spectacular wide slopes branch off, oriented in the perfect way to preserve the powder. What really crowns the experience, though, are the peaks: granite spurs where crampons and a rope are almost always needed, offering short adventurous climbs and soul-stirring views from the top!

Due to the nature of the area's terrain, a minimum level of BS (Buon Sciatore) is required for this trip. You will need to be able to ski a black piste with relative ease and have some ski-touring experience. A good level of fitness is required for the ascents: you will need to be able to do d+ 1200m-1500m at a moderate pace. The trip is open to both skiers and snowboarders (with a splitboard).
