Overview
Stelvio National Park is Italy's largest national park , located between Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol and Lombardia regions. The park shares its borders with the Swiss National Park, Adamello Brenta Natural Park, and Adamello Regional Park. Starting from Santa Caterina Valfurva, we will explore some of the best hiking trails of Valtellina, one of the most inspiring and famous areas of the entire Northern Italy. Let's hike together through glaciers and Tibetan bridges, discover the natural events that gave rise to the morphology of the valley... and beyond.

Laura is a Mountain Leader and a Ebike Instructor.
Her immense passion for the mountains has led her to travel them by all means: on foot, on skis, on rock or icefalls. Every season and every terrain has its particular charm. After her studies as an Interior Designer, she matured the awareness of wanting to make her love for the mountains a lifestyle and, why not, a job: the possibility of passing on one's passions to others is a privilege that not everyone can afford!

DAY 1
Let's start the trekking!
Let's start the walk! The meeting point is in Santa Caterina at 10 a.m. Departure for the trek following the Valle dei Forni to the Stella Alpina refuge. A good tasting of typical food awaits you!
Continue on foot to the Forni refuge. Welcome aperitif, and a typical Valtellina dinner will welcome you!
Luggage and change will be taken to the Forni hut.
DAY 2
Continue the trekking...
Breakfast and departure for the high glaciological path.
The lunch will be at the Branca refuge and then return to the Forni.
Time to return to Santa Caterina by bus and say goodbye!
The programme is very flexible to take into account weather conditions, activities level and endurance of the group.

Trekking Skills
Two-day trekking with an overnight stay in a refuge equipped with all comforts. The first day includes a development of 7km and a drop of 700 meters on a medium easy path. On the second day, a distance of 10km and 600 metres of altitude was always on easy path. However, good training on mountain terrain is necessary.
