This trip is designed for climbers who know the fundamentals of rock climbing and who have already had other experiences. It is essential to have good physical training as there will be sections with snow. An intermediate level is required. Your Guide is a certified guide. The only thing needed is an adventurous attitude and a thirst for exploration!

Ultimately, you are fully responsible for the choices you make. Mapo Tapo recommends that anyone who does not have sufficient knowledge not to go outdoor alone.

Please DO NOT book your flights until this trip is confirmed. Most of our trips require a minimum number of participants to run, so to avoid disappointment, wait for a confirmation email before making non-refundable travel plans.

To join this trip, you should be in good physical condition with previous winter climbing experience at an intermediate level.

No, the flight is not included in the package.

On the initial day, we'll pick you up from your location in Bled, Kranjska Gora, or Mojstrana. Timing will be communicated based on weather conditions.

A guide will take a maximum of 2 climbers during the winter. If your group is larger, additional guides will be assigned.

You'll need a harness, helmet, via Ferrata kit (provided based on conditions), headlamp, warm clothes, waterproof jacket and trousers, gloves, sunglasses, mountaineering shoes with crampon compatibility, a backpack, water bottle, prescribed medication, camera, and snacks. Alpine club membership may offer sleeping discounts, and a hut liner is required if you don't have one.

In the outdoors, especially during activities with inherent risks like climbing, having a certified guide is crucial. The guide bears contractual responsibility for your safety. While you can suggest route changes, the final decision rests with the guide, considering factors like objective risks (e.g., rock conditions) and weather. This ensures a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants.
