Share for Bolts 2022

Support the climbing movement in lesser-known areas by taking part to the 2nd edition of our non-profit initiative “Share For Bolts”.

From April 11th to April 21st, climbers all over the world shared the post from Mapo Tapo’s official Instagram account within their networks. The post has been shared 1.013 times.

Since we pledged 1€ to donate for each share, the amount of this year final prize is 1.013€.

Cris and Andy won Share For Bolts 2022!

A strenuous head-to-head in the last hours of the initiative. Eventually, the dream team from Chile, Cris and Andy, took over the Sicilian team, Cata and Gio. As Cris stated during the very first day of Share For Bolts: "We are ready to win this". A man of his word! In the end they grabbed the final prize of 1.013€.

The crag in Chile to be bolted

The Crag

Cris and Andy took part to the Share For Bolts with a specific goal: to develop a brand-new cliff with potential for both easy and hard routes. More infos will follow!

"To the most simple aspect, Share For Bolts will allow us to buy bolts and anchors which are pretty expensive here in Chile. In the long run it will allow us to build a solid project to present to the local community. Promote a new area in the region and the advantages of having a beautiful crag safely developed will promote climbing here and spread our lifestyle and love for nature and the wild life".
