Traveling to Lake Como 

Lake Como is easily accessible from major cities in Italy and beyond. The most convenient option for exploring the region and accessing the hiking trails is renting a car. This provides the freedom to reach remote trailheads and navigate the winding roads that hug the lakeshore.


However, if you prefer to avoid driving, Lake Como is also well-connected by train and boat. The towns of Como, Bellagio, and Varenna can be easily reached by train from Milan, and from there, you can access some hiking trails on foot.
