Starting the first day, we meet in Kutaisi and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay. The next day, we transfer through scenic landscapes to the remote Bakhmaro region, famous for its untouched powder. We'll ski tour some of the best skiing in Georgia, with daily ascents of 800-1000m, you’ll experience premier Georgia ski touring straight from our cozy guesthouse. This trip offers a unique opportunity to explore skiing in Georgia's remote wilderness, far from the crowded ski resorts.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Kutaisi

We meet in Kutaisi, where you’ll stay overnight at a comfortable hotel. Get ready to experience some of the best ski touring in Georgia!

Day 2 - Transfer to Bakhmaro and start the adventure!

After breakfast, we drive 1.5 hours before switching to a snowcat for a 2-hour ride through the forest, arriving in the Bakhmaro Mountains. We settle into a guesthouse that will serve as our base for the week.

Day 3 - Ski Touring on Gadrekili (2,508m)

We begin our adventure with a ski tour to Gadrekili peak (2,508m). Starting from the guesthouse, we skin up through snow-covered forests and open slopes, ascending around 800-1,000 meters. This region offers pristine conditions, making it one of the highlights of skiing in Georgia. The itinerary can change due to weather conditions and the level of the group.

Day 4 - Ski Touring on Sakornia (2,755m)

Today’s ski tour takes us to Sakornia, one of the highest peaks in the Bakhmaro Mountains at 2,755 meters. With spectacular views and thrilling descents, this is a must for anyone looking for the ultimate ski touring in Georgia. Ascents and descents range from 800-1,000 meters. The itinerary can change due to weather conditions and the level of the group.

Day 5 - Skiing on Lashis Perdi

We continue exploring the Bakhmaro backcountry with a tour to Lashis Perdi. This peak offers a variety of challenging and scenic terrain. Daily ascents and descents are again between 800-1,000 meters, ensuring an exciting day of skiing in Georgia. The itinerary can change due to weather conditions and the level of the group.

Day 6 - Heading to Sunset Mountain

Today, we head to Sunset Mountain, known for its stunning afternoon light and unforgettable views. We start the day right from the guesthouse door, ascending through a blend of forests and open slopes, experiencing more of the deep snow that makes Georgia skiing so special.The itinerary can change due to weather conditions and the level of the group.

Day 7 - Final Ski Tour in Bakhmaro!

On the last day in Bakhmaro, we have the option to revisit one of the peaks or explore a new sector of the Bakhmaro Mountains. This final day of ski touring in Georgia will leave you with lasting memories of untouched powder and breathtaking scenery.The itinerary can change due to weather conditions and the level of the group.

Day 8 - Time to say goodbye!

After breakfast, we transfer back to Kutaisi in the early afternoon, wrapping up our amazing journey of ski touring in Georgia.
