What you'll do

Experience the unique combination of natural beauty and cultural heritage with skiing in Lofoten. Located in northern Norway, where steep mountains meet the sea, Lofoten offers dramatic landscapes perfect for both challenging descents and scenic tours. Ski through deep fjords and snow-covered wilderness while soaking in the breathtaking views. Lofoten has a rich tradition of skiing dating back to the 19th century, making it more than just a skiing destination—it’s a journey through history. Highlights include visits to the Lofoten Ski Museum and the historic village of Kabelvåg.

Itinerary

Fly into Harstad/Narvik Airport (Evenes) and drive to Svolvær, where our adventure begins. From here, we drive to our traditional accommodation. Surrounded by towering peaks, glaciers, and fjords, you’ll immediately experience the breathtaking natural beauty of the Lofoten Islands. The meeting point is Harstad/Narvik Airport, where you will meet the rest of the group and the guide. We reccommend to arrive before 12 pm.
We start our first full day of skiing with a climb to Varden (750 meters). Enjoy a panoramic view of Svolvær and the vast expanse of the Norwegian Sea.
Today’s ski route takes us to Torskmannen (755 meters), offering stunning landscapes and a rewarding ski descent. This is a truly picturesque day in the Lofoten backcountry.
Experience the grandeur of Geitgaljen (1085 meters), a ski route known for its Patagonia-like terrain and spectacular fjord views. One of the highlights of the trip, this peak provides an unforgettable ski adventure in the heart of Lofoten.
A more relaxed day of skiing awaits as we head up Kvittinden (710 meters). Though this is a simpler route, it offers perfect slopes for skiing.v
Today’s route brings us to Rundfjellet (803 meters), where we’ll ski through birch forests, traverse a glacier-like environment, and finish along an airy ridge with awe-inspiring views of the surrounding mountains and fjords.
Our final day of skiing takes us up Pilan (828 meters), with the option to summit Sautinden (596 meters) as well. This dual-peak adventure is the perfect capstone to our Lofoten skiing experience.
Transfer to Harstad/Narvik Airport for your return flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of skiing in Lofoten. We recommend book a flight after 3 pm.

Bellezza dei paesaggi, montagne e neve per divertirsi con lo spettacolo dell’aurora boreale. Viaggio e logistica organizzata con la massima disponibilità, ottima l’assistenza da parte della nostra guida.

We had a great time in Lofoten with a special and very professional guide, Raffaele. Views, snow, landscapes were stunning. The house we rented was super cozy, comfortable and we had a lot of space (each person had a private room). The cars were big enough to store our gear everyday and comfy on ice and water. We couldn’t ask for more! One of the best holidays in my life! As a side note I would recommend to make the group meet (online) before departure and have a summary about the holiday that awaits each participant. We had a very (too) strange group of people of very different age, which made it work less smoothly that expected. Also part of the group stayed in a different house, which didn’t make us feel entirely part of a team, but more that we have to adapt to their personal necessities, sacrificing the social part of our holiday very much. Ages were 34,37,50,64,69. We would have appreciated a more “young” group. Apart from that the trip has been really great :)
