Itinerary

Welcome to your skiing adventure in France! We start with a warm welcome at Briançon train station at 9.15 AM, followed by a transfer to our first departure point. After a thorough briefing and equipment check, we begin our journey. Today’s outing is tailored to the current snow conditions in the Ecrins or surrounding the Serre-Chevalier valley. This is where you'll experience ski touring as we love it, immersed in the best skiing areas in France. Elevation gain: +/-800 m
We start the day on the cross-country ski tracks next to the lodge. The morning is easy-going as we warm up, chat, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We arrive at a snow-covered cirque, serenaded by a river, before ascending towards Col Perdu. Here, you'll be treated to stunning views of Col d'Izoard. Depending on conditions, we'll either descend the same route or explore the north side, enjoying some of the best skiing in France. Elevation gain: +/-900 m
After breakfast, we depart from the lodge, heading to the base of Rochebrune (3320m). The climb offers breathtaking views, making it one of the highlights of your ski touring in France. The descent is pure fun, whether in combes or between larches—this is snow skiing in France at its finest. We return to the lodge to collect our belongings and then transfer back to Briançon or Oulx train station, marking the end of this unforgettable skiing holiday in France.

This trip takes place in our Lodge nestled in the village of Cervières at the foot of the Col d'Izoard. You will be looked after by Isabelle and her team, who will offer you an exceptional welcome and a living space where you can spend some quality time in peace and quiet. The food is simple, natural and of high quality, with a choice of good beers and wines.
