What will I learn from this course?
The aim of the course is to learn how to interpret the snow-covered environment and to move safely in the mountains during winter. Interpreting the snow-covered landscape, the ability to use avalanche self-rescue equipment such as a shovel, probe and avalanche transceiver (ARTVA), and techniques for travelling on snow with snowshoes will be the key themes of this two-day training excursion. All this takes place against the stunning backdrop of Monte Bondone, a spectacular vantage point overlooking the Brenta Dolomites.
