Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Bhutan! Arrival in Paro

Embark on an unforgettable journey with breathtaking Himalayan vistas from your flight. Arrive around 12 PM and take some times to explore the quaint Paro town before unwinding at your hotel, setting the stage for your trekking adventure in Bhutan.

Day 2 - The Trek Begins, Gunitsawa Village to Sharna Zampa

Step into the heart of Bhutan's pristine wilderness. Trek through mesmerizing landscapes, immersing yourself in the local flora and fauna, marking the start of your Jomolhari Dodena trek itinerary.

Day 3 - Diverse Terrains, Sharna Zampa to Thangthangkha

Journey through varied terrains, surrounded by scenic valleys and lush meadows, embodying the essence of trekking in Bhutan.

Day 4 - Majestic Peaks, Thangthangkha to Jangothang

Day 5 - Exploring Jangothang

Day 6 - Panoramic Vistas, Jangothang to Lingshi

Day 7 - Yelila Pass, Lingshi to Shodu

Day 8 - Rhododendron Forests, Shodu to Barshong

Day 9 - Forests and Meadows, Barshong to Dolam

Descend into the serene Thimphu Chhu river valley, trekking through a tapestry of forests to reach a picturesque meadow campsite.

Day 10 - Journey’s End, Dolam Kencho to Dodena

Follow forested trails to Dodena, concluding your trek with sightings of native monkeys and exiting the lush Jigme Dorji National Park.

Day 11 - Spiritual Heights, Thimphu to Paro, Hike to Taktsang Monastery

Visit the iconic Taktsang Monastery, a jewel of spiritual and architectural brilliance, perched on a cliff face, encapsulating the soul of Bhutan trekking trips.

Day 12 - Farewell to Bhutan
