In the heart of Anatolia, a region of Turkey, lies a mostly mountainous territory... a wild land yet to be discovered!You'll be on the imposing Erciyes volcano and the Taurus massive, which offer infinite possibilities of ski-touring routes in a unique setting! If you can, don't miss a visit to Cappadocia!

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival and Transfer to Erciyes

Welcome to Turkey! We’ll greet you at Kayseri Airport and transfer you directly to your hotel at the foot of the majestic Erciyes volcano, known for offering some of the best skiing in Turkey. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure.

Day 2 - Skiing in Erciyes Resort

Kickstart your journey with a warm-up session at the Erciyes ski resort, nestled on the slopes of the Erciyes volcano. This resort is a hidden gem for skiing in Turkey. After a thrilling day, we’ll transfer to Taurus, where you'll enjoy authentic hospitality at Ahmet's guest house.

Day 3 - Ski Touring in the Taurus Mountains

Our adventure begins with an exciting ski touring route in the Taurus Mountains. The day starts with an all-terrain vehicle taking us to the base of vast, untouched slopes. The dramatic dolomite-like formations and the mineral-rich landscape make skiing in Turkey an experience like no other. We’ll return to Ahmet’s guest house for a cozy evening.

Day 4 - Exploring New Skiing Terrain

Today, we venture into another incredible ski touring route. The endless possibilities allow us to discover new, pristine slopes, offering some of the best skiing in Turkey. After a thrilling day, we’ll relax and share stories over a hearty dinner at the guest house.

Day 5 - Skiing in the Hidden Valleys

We continue our exploration of the Taurus Mountains, this time uncovering hidden valleys that are perfect for snow skiing in Turkey. Each descent offers a unique view and terrain, making this day another highlight of the trip. We’ll return to our warm and welcoming accommodation in the evening.

Day 6 - Final Ski Adventure and Transfer to Cappadocia

On our last day of ski touring, we’ll tackle one more incredible route, ensuring we’ve explored the best this region has to offer. In the afternoon, we’ll transfer to Cappadocia, where we’ll settle into a charming hotel for the next two nights.

Day 7 - Discover the Fairytale of Cappadocia

No trip to Turkey is complete without visiting Cappadocia. We’ll spend the day walking among the iconic fairy chimneys, an enchanting end to our adventure. Skiing in Turkey might be our focus, but experiencing these otherworldly landscapes is a must.

Day 8 - Departure from Kayseri

After breakfast, we’ll transfer you back to Kayseri Airport for your return flight, marking the end of our unforgettable ski touring adventure in Turkey.

Hotel & Guest House

Our guide partner will organise the accommodation in comfortable hotels and guest houses depending on the day. You will be accommodated in a 3* hotel based on twin room to share in Erciyes for one night, in a guest house based on twin room to share for the 4 nights of activities (The room has a toilet and shower) and in a base hotel twin room to share for the last night. Sheet, towels and linnen are not provided.
