Itinerary

Arrive in Edolo in the afternoon (4PM), check in at your hotel, and meet your tour guide. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll take a private transfer to Malga Valley, the starting point of our hike. Our journey begins with a steep ascent to Conca del Baitone, where we’ll take a short break at the namesake refuge before continuing on gentler terrain toward Rifugio Tonolini: our base for the next two nights. As we traverse the rugged Adamello scree, we’ll pass the stunning Laghi Gelati, where crystal-clear waters reflect towering peaks over 3,000 meters (9,840 ft). The final climb leads us to the summit of Corno delle Granate (3,104 m / 10,183 ft), offering breathtaking views of Conca del Baitone and the surrounding mountains. After enjoying lunch at the summit, we’ll descend to the refuge in the afternoon for a well-earned rest. Distance: 14 km (8.7 mi) | Elevation Gain: +1,600 m (+5,250 ft) -900m (-2,950 ft) | Time: 8-9 hours
After breakfast at the refuge, we set off toward the highest peak of our 3-day journey and the tallest in Conca del Baitone—the majestic Corno Baitone (3,330 m / 10,925 ft). The route consists mostly of rocky and gravelly terrain, leading to a more technical and exposed final ascent, where hands may be needed for support. Upon reaching the summit, we'll be rewarded with one of the most breathtaking panoramas of the Adamello Group, in a truly remote and wild environment. After lunch at the summit, we begin our descent. Depending on your departure date, we will spend the night at either Rifugio Tonolini or Rifugio Baitone, beautifully positioned with sweeping panoramic views, where we'll celebrate our achievement with a well-earned beer and a hearty dinner. For Tonolini: Distance: 10 km (6.2 mi) | Elevation Gain: +900 m (+2,953 ft) -900 m (-2,953 ft) | Time: 7-8 hours - For Baitone: Distance: 10 km (6.2 mi) | Elevation Gain: +900 m (+2,953 ft) -1,050 m (-3,445 ft) | Time: 7-8 hours
On our last day, we conquer one final 3,000m+ peak, the breathtaking Cima Plem (3,182 m / 10,440 ft). After an energizing breakfast at the refuge, we set off toward Passo del Cristallo. From the pass, we follow an easy ridge trail before navigating granite slabs and tackling a final scree-covered ascent to the summit. At the top, stunning panoramic views of the Adamello Group, surrounding peaks, and glistening alpine lakes reward our efforts. After taking in the scenery and enjoying our packed lunch, we begin our descent into Val Miller. A brief stop at Rifugio Gnutti allows for some well-earned rest before continuing to Rifugio Premassone, where our transfer awaits to take us back to Edolo. From Tonolini: Distance: 12 km (7.5 mi) | Elevation Gain: +700 m (+2,300 ft) -1,500 m (-4,920 ft) | Time: 8-9 hours - From Baitone: Distance: 12 km (7.5 mi) | Elevation Gain: +900 m (+2,953 ft) -1,500 m (-4,920 ft) | Time: 8-9 hours
After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, it's time to head to the airport for your journey home—or extend your stay and continue exploring at your own pace. The choice is yours!
