What you'll do

An incredible circular journey, accessible to all, that takes you from one shelter to another, offering a deep exploration of the breathtaking Dolomite group of the Pale di San Martino. This route traverses the Dolomites' vastest plateau, navigating around and approaching grand peaks and bold spires.

Itinerary

Meet at the Info Point at Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Nature Park in Castelpietro, Tonadico (38054 Tonadico TN) at 2 PM. We prepare to start our journey to Malga Canali. This initial hike, with an ascent of 300 metres, introduces us to the stunning scenery of the Dolomites.
We set off after breakfast towards Pradidali Refuge, ascending over 1000 metres. This stretch offers a closer look at the Dolomites' impressive peaks and spires, marking a highlight for many hikers.
Our path leads us from Pradidali Hut to Rifugio Rosetta through the mountain's core. The hike up includes a 450-metre elevation gain. An optional additional climb to Cima Rosetta (2742 metres) is available for those seeking extraordinary views.
Today's journey takes us across one of the Dolomites' largest plateaus, then down to Rifugio Treviso. With over 10km of ground covered, including a descent of about 1000 metres, we experience the Dolomites' diverse landscape firsthand.
Our final descent of 650 metres brings us back to our starting point, concluding our memorable hut-to-hut hiking adventure in the Dolomites in the afternoon around 6 PM. We enjoy the natural beauty around us as we complete our journey.

Malga Canali

A small, rustic yet cozy family-run mountain dairy and farmhouse nestled in the Val Canali, at the foot of the Pale di San Martino (Primiero). Accessible by car, the establishment embodies the simple yet authentic peasant origins coupled with warmth and professionalism.

Refuge Pradidali

Pradidali Refuge, located at 2278m in the heart of the Pale di San Martino, is a starting point for excursions and ascents to the nearby Dolomite peaks.

Refuge Pedrotti alla Rosetta

The refuge is situated in a splendid position on the plateau of the Pale di San Martino and is an excellent starting point for numerous hikes and climbs.

Refuge Treviso

The Treviso Refuge is situated in a picturesque location surrounded by large larches and firs on the eastern slope of Val Canali. Its mid-low altitude position and the numerous opportunities it offers for leisurely walks and easy ascents make it an ideal place for relaxation.
