What you'll do

Join a five-day ski tour in the Gran San Bernardo Valley. Glide across untouched snow, savor local dishes, and relax in a traditional Aosta Valley stay. This trip's routes are adaptable to the group's skill levels and ensure a unique alpine experience for everyone. Conclude with a visit to Prosciuttificio2473 for a taste of the region.

Itinerary

We meet in Saint Rhemy en Bosses (AO) for a material check and briefing. We transfer to our start point and review the use of safety equipment (ARTVA, shovel, probe) before ascending 1,165 meters uphill to Costa dei Serena at 2,785m. Our path takes us through diverse terrains, always in pursuit of the best snow for descent. We end the day with a meal at the Prosciutteria di Sous le Bosses, enjoying local cuisine. We spend the night in a cozy hotel or B&B in the Aosta Valley.
We begin with a short car transfer, then ski towards the Gran San Bernardo Pass. The journey includes open slopes, panoramic views, exciting traverses, and serene forests, leading us to the Hospice du Grand Saint Bernard. After enjoying the historic site, we ski down and return to our Aosta Valley accommodation for the night.
We head towards the secluded Colle di Saint Rhemy, embracing the wilderness. Reaching the pass, we ski down to discover a pristine valley and make our way through fresh powder to Saint Rhemy en Bosses, where we enjoy local specialties. We return to our hotel/B&B in the Aosta Valley for relaxation.
We tackle Mont Flassin (2,757m), a route known for good snow conditions. Our ascent goes through clearings and small forests, ending just below the summit for the final walk up, possibly using crampons. After, we visit Leonardo's for a meal and Prosciuttificio2473 for a Jambon alla brace de Saint-Oyen tasting. We head back to our Aosta Valley accommodation.
We choose between freeriding at Crevacol ski resort or a ski-touring excursion on the Swiss side of Gran San Bernardo. The day is filled with skiing pleasure and exploration. We conclude with a group lunch and a celebratory toast.
