What you'll do

Eat, sleep and breathe climbing on this killer sport climbing road trip in Ceüse, France. Join the Rockbusters team for a week, two, or the whole two months visiting Europe's best crags and testing your forearms to the limit!With the focus being to 'Learn by doing', we will be spending as much time on the rock as possible. You'll receive top coaching and advice to boost your technique, performance and strength while climbing the very best routes at the very best crags. This trip is ideal for any climber looking to refresh their sport climbing safety skills, master leading and improve their overall rock climbing performance - or anyone looking for a few weeks climbing at some of Europe's most iconic crags. Book some time off work, pack your bags and let's hit the road!


Itinerary

Arrive at the designated meeting point for the climbing trip. We recommend to arrive before 6 PM. Meet your fellow climbers and guides. Gear check and distribution, ensuring everyone has the necessary equipment and understands how to use it safely. Introduction to the itinerary and goals for the week. Dinner and relaxation in preparation for the days ahead.
Morning session on choosing the right climbing equipment and understanding outdoor risks. Practice proper belaying techniques, including lead belaying and catching falls dynamically. Instruction on setting up top-ropes and cleaning anchors. Lunch break followed by lead climbing techniques and communication exercises. Review of the day's lessons and techniques. Evening social time with the group.
Morning warm-up and stretching session. Focus on movement skills and climbing efficiency. Practice perfect balance and proper footwork to trust in your abilities. Introduction to special climbing techniques such as side-stepping, drop knee and flagging. Lunch break and discussion on applying techniques to climb more challenging routes. Afternoon session dedicated to honing movement skills on the rock. Group dinner and relaxation.
Morning session on lead climbing advancement, including redpoint and on-sight attempts. Personalized coaching to break through mental barriers and push your limits. Lunch break and opportunity for individual coaching sessions or rest. Afternoon dedicated to practising lead climbing techniques on various routes. Feedback and discussion on progress. Evening leisure time to unwind.
A full-day excursion to one of Europe's best crags for a change of scenery and new climbing challenges. Guided climbing on a variety of routes, focusing on applying learned techniques. A picnic lunch at the crag with time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Return to basecamp for dinner and reflection on the day's experiences. Optional evening activities or free time.
Morning warm-up and review of climbing goals and challenges. One-on-one coaching sessions with instructors, focusing on individual needs and areas for improvement. Video analysis of climbing technique for personalized feedback. Lunch break followed by more climbing practice with an emphasis on implementing coaching feedback. Group dinner and sharing of insights from the day.
Another full-day excursion to explore a different crag or return to a favourite spot for more climbing adventures. Guided climbing on challenging routes, pushing personal limits with the support of instructors and fellow climbers. Lunch break and celebration picnic at the crag to commemorate achievements and progress. Return to basecamp for a festive farewell dinner and awards ceremony. Evening of camaraderie and sharing memories of the week.
Final breakfast with the group, exchanging contact information and farewells. Check-out and departure from the accommodation. Transfer to the designated drop-off point or airport. To enjoy a full last day and a good breakfast with the group, we recommend departing after 10-11 AM. Reflection on the week's accomplishments and growth as climbers. Safe travels home with memories of an incredible climbing adventure and newfound skills to continue your climbing journey.

Jany is a solid 8a+ climber who started Rockbusters. Although his master's degree in Social Politics and Social Work, he couldn’t resist the call of the mountains and became a climbing instructor.

Klemen is a former competition champion that on-sights 8c sport-climbing routes. He doesn't like spending too much time working the lines, even though he topped quite a few 9a+.
