What you'll do

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival day

Arrive in Kalymnos and set in your accommodation. We recommend arriving before 6 PM.

Day 2 - Introduction at Odyssey

Kick off your Kalymnos climbing adventure with an initial assessment of your safety skills and climbing techniques at the iconic Odyssey sector. This day ensures we customize the program to suit your climbing level perfectly. In the evening, savour a welcoming dinner with your group at a local shepherd's restaurant beneath the Grande Grotta, or enjoy fresh seafood by the port at a fisherman's restaurant.

Day 3 - Technique enhancement at Poets & Kalydna

Focus on honing your climbing skills like footwork and balance at Poets and Kalydna. These areas offer not just challenging climbs but also stunning views across to Telendos, making your rock climbing experience in Kalymnos genuinely memorable.

Day 4 - Telendos Island excursion

Take a short boat trip to Telendos Island to explore the Irox sector. Today is all about applying your skills practically, building confidence, and enjoying climbing in one of Kalymnos' prime spots. The serene setting, combined with rigorous climbing routes, offers a perfect blend of adventure and scenic beauty.

Day 5 - Rest day

Utilize this day for some well-deserved rest. Opt for other activities such as kayaking, cycling, scuba diving, or simply relaxing on the beach. This rest day is essential to rejuvenate before more climbing in the upcoming days.

Day 6 - Climbs at Arginonta

Experience climbing on the distinctive red rock of Arginonta set against the backdrop of the blue/turquoise sea. This day is perfect for climbers looking to enhance their technique while enjoying some of Kalymnos’ most colourful and superb routes.

Day 7 - Climbing at Grande Grotta

Ascend the routes next to Grande Grotta, a symbol of rock climbing in Greece. Conclude your sport climbing trip with another group dinner at the port, where you can indulge in homemade Greek specialities and fresh fish, all complemented by a picturesque view of Telendos.

Day 8 - Departure day

Time to say goodbye! After a good and healthy breakfast, it is time to leave. We reccomend to leave around 11 AM.

Spitakia Studios

Spitakia is situated in Masouri, a seaside village northwest of Kalymnos. Due to its temperate climate, beautiful beaches, and picturesque scenery, Masouri has traditionally been a local holiday destination. For guests traveling to Kalymnos for climbing, Masouri is the ideal place to set up camp, as most of the climbing sectors are in the north part of the island. You will stay in a double or triple room shared with the group. The apartment has a bathroom, kitchen and living room.
