Itinerary

Arrive to the meeting point by the afternoon (we recommend before 6 pm). After settling into your accommodation, take some time to relax and get to know your fellow climbers. Tonight, we’ll have a welcome dinner (not included) where you’ll meet your guides and discuss the upcoming days. It’s the perfect chance to unwind and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead. The meeting point will be shared by the local referent months before departure (don't worry).
Today marks the start of your adventure! You’ll begin by learning about the Czech climbing tradition and the unique ethical approach—no metal protection allowed. After a safety briefing and gear check, your guide will introduce you to traditional climbing techniques, including knotting slings. The first climb will give you a taste of the challenge, with the stunning sandstone formations of Bohemian Switzerland as your backdrop.
Your focus today is refining the fundamental techniques of traditional climbing. You'll practice using textile protection and knotting techniques as you ascend some of the region’s smaller towers. Each climb will challenge your footwork and climbing precision. With every move, you’ll grow more connected to the rock and the rich climbing history that defines this area. The views of the sandstone spires are simply breathtaking!
As you continue to gain confidence, today’s climbs will be more demanding. You’ll tackle longer routes and work on improving your footwork and balance. The key today is to build your skill in placing traditional protection and reading the rock, preparing you for more complex climbs in the coming days. The stunning, rugged landscape of Bohemian Switzerland will continue to inspire and push you to new heights.
Today is all about honing your skills further. You'll work on more technical aspects of climbing, focusing on precise footwork, balance, and protection placement. The routes today will be a bit more demanding, but you'll be well-prepared to take them on. The challenge today lies in making sure everything is set up properly for each climb, with every knot and step executed with care.
You’ll take on the iconic sandstone spires today, focusing on advanced climbing techniques. Using the skills you’ve learned, you'll tackle some of the taller and more complex routes. These climbs will push you both physically and mentally, but the views and the sense of accomplishment once you summit will make it all worth it.
Your final full climbing day is all about multi-pitch climbing. You’ll take on longer, more complex routes, where you'll use everything you've learned—route finding, protection placement, and managing your gear across multiple pitches. This is the ultimate challenge, and you'll experience the thrill of climbing higher and farther than ever before. It’s the perfect way to end your climbing adventure, with stunning views from the top of a towering sandstone spire.
After a final breakfast together, reflect on your amazing journey through Czech climbing. Share stories with fellow climbers, and enjoy the final moments before you depart. Check-out is after breakfast, around 10-11 am, leaving with a sense of accomplishment and unforgettable memories.
