This is a nature, surf and community experience on São Miguel, the green heart of the Azores. This trip is designed for travellers who want to surf, explore volcanic landscapes and disconnect in one of Europe’s most unique island destinations. Days follow the SurfWeek flow: surf lessons based on ocean conditions, time at the beach, viewpoints, natural pools, shared dinners and relaxed moments with the group. You’ll stay in a sunny surf house near Ponta Delgada and close to São Roque and Pópulo beaches, with shared spaces, a garden and a laid-back atmosphere. It’s not a rigid itinerary, but a flexible experience shaped by the weather, the waves and the group vibe.

Bagus Surf house (Nights 1–7)

This sunny surf house is located on the south coast of São Miguel, just a few minutes from Ponta Delgada and close to the beautiful beaches of São Roque, Milícias, and Pópulo. The Surf House is spread over two floors and features spacious shared living and lounge areas, a fully equipped communal kitchen and dining room, plus an outdoor chill-out area with barbecue and a large garden perfect for relaxing after a day in the ocean. Accommodation includes one shared six-person room and one double room. Guests will share two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, creating a social and welcoming environment ideal for surfers and travelers alike.

You’ll be looked after by a trip manager who oversees every detail, along with one or more hosts who will join you in all activities and share nothing but good vibes. Surf lessons are led by certified instructors from local schools, who bring a wealth of knowledge, patience, and a deep-rooted passion for the Azores to every session.
